In their home opener against hometown rivals- Sunlake Seahawks, the Lady Gators lost 5-12. While there was some physicality that emerged from both teams heading into the 2nd half, the Gators stepped up with an electifying final 5 minutes, with back-to-back goals from Bethany Bonds in the draw control. Key players of the game included Juniors- Chloe Norman (3G, 6 GBs), Bethany Bonds (2G, 3 SOG), Freshman- Sophia D’Amore (1DC, 2 SOG), and Sophomore goalie- Loletta Gay (10 SV). The Lady Gators face off against the Pasco Pirates on Friday, 2/19 at Pasco. Game is set to kick off at 5pm.
